Refund Policy

When a purchase or renewal may be refunded, how automatic subscription cancellation works, and how to request help.

Effective 29 September 2026

Website: https://www.yourtoeflprep.com

Effective date: 29 September 2026

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to purchases and subscription renewals for online practice and mock examinations and related digital services supplied by Dallakyan Tigran Suren (Դալլաքյան Տիգրան Սուրենի), a sole proprietor registered in the Republic of Armenia under taxpayer identification number (TIN) 73046309, with registered business address at 29 Gyulbenkyan Street, Apt. 13, Yerevan, Armenia through https://www.yourtoeflprep.com.

Our products are digital services delivered online; no physical goods are shipped. Fixed-term purchases do not renew. When automatic renewal is selected at checkout, the plan renews for the displayed billing interval until canceled. Canceling stops future renewals but does not itself refund the current billing period. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Payment-Provider Roles

Paid Orders are processed by the third-party payment provider or Merchant of Record identified at checkout. Where a Merchant of Record is used, it acts as the authorized reseller and seller for payment purposes: it collects the payment, issues the receipt, and processes an approved refund through its own systems. That provider's name or a related descriptor may appear on your statement, and its buyer terms and refund policy also apply to the payment transaction.

Because the Merchant of Record is the party that actually took the payment, it is also the party that must return it. We decide whether a refund is due under this Policy and then instruct the provider to issue it; the provider executes the transfer back to your original payment method.

We do not hold your card details and cannot refund to a card or account other than the one charged.

3. Voluntary Refund Eligibility Before an Exam Starts

Subject to this Policy, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days after the initial purchase or an automatic renewal if all of the following are true:

  • you have not started, opened, or materially accessed any Exam included in the purchase;
  • you have not viewed, downloaded, streamed, copied, or otherwise received protected Exam Content;
  • no practice score, report, explanation, review, or AI-assisted feedback has been generated for you under the purchase;
  • no purchased credit, attempt, package item, or other paid benefit has been used or transferred;
  • the request is made by the purchaser using the email address associated with the Order; and
  • there is no evidence of fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service.

In short: an unused Premium period is refundable within the window above; a Premium period under which you have already opened a paid Exam or received AI-assisted feedback is not, because the digital content has been delivered.

An Exam is considered started when you open its first secured question, begin its timer, download or stream protected Exam Content, or otherwise receive a material part of it, as recorded by our systems. Viewing a public product description or an order receipt does not by itself start an Exam.

If a package contains several separate Exams and only some have been started, we may, where operationally possible and legally permitted, offer a proportionate refund for the wholly unused portion. We are not required to do so unless applicable law requires it or the checkout expressly promised it.

4. When Voluntary Refunds Are Not Available

Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, a refund is not available when:

  • any included Exam has been started, accessed, or completed during the billing period covered by the charge;
  • a score, report, explanation, review, or personalized feedback has been generated or delivered;
  • the 14-day request period measured from the relevant purchase or renewal charge has expired;
  • you missed an Exam, access period, deadline, or opportunity because of your equipment, connection, schedule, or failure to follow published requirements;
  • you are dissatisfied only because a practice score was lower than expected or differed from an official TOEFL result;
  • you purchased by mistake but then accessed the protected Service;
  • access was suspended or terminated for cheating, account sharing, copying, scraping, chargeback abuse, or another material breach of our Terms of Service;
  • a discount, promotional credit, or complimentary access has no cash value; or
  • the request concerns foreign-exchange differences, bank fees, or card-issuer charges that we did not collect.

5. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, conformity, or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. If the law where you live gives you stronger rights, those rights prevail.

Consumers in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and certain other jurisdictions may have a statutory period to withdraw from some distance contracts. For digital content or services supplied immediately, that right may end or be reduced after performance begins only if the legally required conditions are met, which may include your prior express request or consent to immediate supply and your acknowledgment that you will lose the withdrawal right.

Where our checkout or pre-access screen asks for that consent, selecting the relevant checkbox and then starting the Exam means, to the extent permitted by applicable law, that you expressly request immediate performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledge the resulting loss of the withdrawal right. If the required consent, acknowledgment, or confirmation was not properly obtained, your mandatory rights remain unaffected.

A Merchant of Record may apply country-specific statutory rights and any higher protection set out in its own then-current buyer refund policy. You may also request a statutory refund directly through the method shown in your receipt from that provider.

6. Technical Problems, Non-Delivery, and Incorrect Charges

Contact us promptly if:

  • confirmed payment was taken but access was not delivered;
  • a persistent technical defect attributable to our Service materially prevented you from using the purchased Exam;
  • the Service was materially different from its description;
  • you were charged twice for the same Order; or
  • the amount charged differed from the amount you authorized.

We will first try to restore access, correct the defect, extend the access period, or provide equivalent replacement access where a prompt remedy is reasonable. If the problem cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, we will provide the refund or price reduction required by applicable law. A technical issue caused solely by your device, unsupported software, connection, or failure to follow requirements ordinarily does not qualify.

7. How to Request a Refund

Email support@yourtoeflprep.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

  • your full name and Account email;
  • the Order number, receipt number, and purchase date;
  • the payment provider named on your receipt or bank statement;
  • the Exam or package purchased;
  • a brief reason for the request; and
  • any evidence of a technical, delivery, duplicate-charge, or billing issue.

You may also use the refund or support link in the receipt issued by the payment provider. We may forward an eligible request to that provider, because the Merchant of Record is the party that must issue the refund.

We may request reasonable information to verify the purchaser and prevent fraud. Do not email full card numbers, security codes, passwords, or unnecessary identity documents.

8. Review and Processing Time

We aim to acknowledge a complete request within 3 business days and decide it within 7 business days. Complex technical, fraud, or payment-provider reviews may take longer; mandatory legal deadlines still apply.

If approved:

  • we instruct the payment provider or Merchant of Record that processed the Order to return the amount to the original payment method, where possible, under that provider's processing rules; and
  • access to the refunded Exam or package ends immediately.

We do not issue cash, cryptocurrency, or a refund to a different card or account. Once submitted, a refund commonly takes 5-10 business days to appear, but the actual posting time depends on the payment provider, the acquiring bank, the card network, and your issuer. Statutory refunds will be processed within the period required by applicable law.

Currency conversion may cause the amount shown in your local currency to differ from the original local-currency debit. We refund only the amount and currency actually processed, except where law requires otherwise. We do not control exchange rates or issuer fees.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact support@yourtoeflprep.com before starting a chargeback so we have an opportunity to resolve a genuine billing or delivery problem. This request does not limit your lawful right to dispute a charge through your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or consumer-protection authority.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal, we may temporarily suspend the related access while the dispute is investigated. We and the relevant Merchant of Record or processor may provide the bank or card network with transaction records, access logs, proof of delivery, communications, and any legally valid consent concerning immediate digital performance.

Knowingly disputing a legitimate charge through false statements, after using the Service, may violate our Terms and applicable law. We may terminate access and contest an abusive or fraudulent chargeback. We will not penalize a good-faith exercise of a lawful payment-dispute right.

10. Refund Abuse

We may decline a voluntary refund and restrict future purchases where there is reasonable evidence of repeated refund manipulation, account cycling, copied Content, identity or payment fraud, or an attempt to obtain both the Service and the purchase price. This does not affect mandatory consumer remedies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy for legal, payment-provider, or operational reasons. The version in effect when you purchased will normally govern that Order, unless a change is required by law or gives you greater protection. The effective date appears above.
